Mr. Sinethemba Betela
Director | LLB (UWC)
Sinethemba obtained his LLB from the University of the Western Cape in 2018. He first served as a Law Researcher at the Supreme Court of Appeal, supporting Judges with in‑depth research and verified legal sources. He went on to complete articles at Symington De Kok Attorneys, working across Magistrates’ and High Court matters. Admitted in 2021, he practiced at Munnik Basson Dagama Attorneys and was promoted to Head of Department in 2022, prior to establishing his practice.
Sibusisekile Lihle Mthuli
Associate | LLB (UNISA)
Sibusisekile is a qualified attorney with an LLB from UNISA, awarded with ten distinctions. She completed articles at MBD Inc. Attorneys and was admitted to the High Court in 2025. Joining Betela Attorneys in October 2025, she supports senior attorneys and assists with case preparation across different matters. Her dedication and growing expertise enhance the firm’s delivery of dependable, comprehensive legal solutions.
Takalani Nomusa Tshabalala
Candidate Attorney | BCom, LLB (UNISA)
Takalani holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an LLB. During her articles, she is building experience in civil litigation, dispute resolution, commercial and property law, divorce and family law, and labour law. Her day‑to‑day work includes drafting, research, and assisting on matters in the Magistrates’ Court and the High Court. She is working toward admission as an attorney and joined Betela Attorneys in September 2025.
Mnotho Zwane
Legal Secretary
Mnotho holds a Paralegal Certificate from the South African Law School and is pursuing an LLB at the University of South Africa (UNISA) to expand her understanding of the field. She became part of Betela Attorneys in 2024, after completing her workplace experience as an intern there.
Tiisetso Aphane
Legal Secretary
Tiisetso is a Paralegal graduate from the South African Law School with a Paralegal Certificate. She brings experience from a bank’s finance department and joined Betela Attorneys in August 2025 to advance her legal career.
Tshepiso Petla
Driver | Messenger
Tshepiso began his law studies at North-West University in 2007. He completed first year, then continued second year with the University of South Africa. In 2013, he joined Twala Attorneys, working on the Litigation Management System for the Road Accident Fund and handling City of Johannesburg housing deeds matters. He joined Betela Attorneys in January 2025.
Charmaine Nyoni
Deceased Estate Administrator
Charmaine holds an LLB degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA). She served her articles at Masike Attorneys and later joined P K Nhlapo Inc as a Legal Professional in August 2021. With over eight years of experience in deceased estate administration and legal matters, Charmaine manages every aspect of the process — from the initial consultation to finalisation. She is dedicated to providing efficient, professional, and compassionate service to clients navigating the estate process.
